Loves: Human attention (especially belly rubs) and loves to play fetch with a ball  

Needs: An active adopter who can exercise him daily, set clear boundaries and give him the attention he craves. Ideally someone with the sapce to play fetch with him. An adopter who is home most of the time preferably with another dog. Blue really needs someone who can create structure and instill confidence in him so that he is less nervous when left alone. 

Story: Blue was found painted blue and tied to a tree near a mini-mart. Later we found out that a woman had actually seen him walking in the street with a rope around his neck and tied him to the tree so that he wouldn't get hurt. His owners were never found.
