Temperament: Shy, fearful, medium energy. 

Good with strangers? Very shy and will take time to warm up to people and get comfortable (especially men. he seems particularly fearful of workers)

Good with kids? Very shy and will take time to warm up to people and get comfortable 

Good with dogs? YES

Good with cats? No, will chase them

TRAINING:

Knows any commands? Unknown- needs training 

Potty trained? Yes - outside

Crate trained? Yes, he currently sleeps and stays most of the time in a crate in the clinic where he finds it comforting and regards it as his safe place. 

Walks on a leash? Yes, but needs a push in the beginning 

Needs: A patient adopter with experience who can exercise him daily, build a bond with him, socialize him, and help boost his confidence so that he isn't so fearful. Someone who can reinforce basic commands and potty training. Someone with a spacious secure outdoor area that he can run around in. 

Loves: Going for walks, receiving affection, being around other dogs.
 

Story: King was found scared and shaken by the side of the road after he managed to cross King rd and survived with minimal injury. He had a broken toe and was found to be very scared and malnourished. We found out later that King was one of 10 dogs that belonged to a woman (who could not keep up with their care),who all got out on to the street at the same time. His owner has since surrendered him to our care and we have been trying to build up his confidence. He is eagerly in need of a foster/forever home.
