Temperament: Friendly, sweet, medium energy, playful, loves everyone 

Good with strangers?  YES

Good with kids?  YES

Good with dogs? YES, but nervous around larger dogs  

Good with Cats? No, tends to chase street cats

TRAINING

Knows commands? Yes, (sit,stay,own name, crate, down, high five, kisses)

Potty-Trained? Yes

Walks on a leash? YES, but tends to pull so needs some reinforcement 

Crate trained: Yes

Where does dog usually sleep? on his own bed on the floor next to his persons bed. 

Loves: Chicken, being the centre of attention, playing with everyone, running around, chasing things

Needs: An experienced adopter/family with kids who can give him the time and space to get comfortable in his new home. Take him for long walks. Ideally, a home with another dog or with someone home most of the time. 

Story: Rupert was found in the street in a poor state. He was scared and hopeless, confused as to how he got there and why his owner abandoned him. Thank God, our volunteers were able to reach him and rescue him, get him medical attention and a much needed bath. We never were able to locate his owners. Rupert is now a very good and clean boy, waiting for the right family to call his forever family.
