Medical History: Vaccinated, Neutered. Microchipped. Dewormed and treated for ticks and fleas.
Grooming/care: Chow chows need a lot of care when it comes to their hair (they need to be groomed regularly). Their eyes needs to be cleaned on occasion and while they need exercise during the cooler parts of the day, they also need to have a cool indoor place ideally with a clean atmosphere that doesn't have smoke, candles, scents..that could effect their breathing.

Temperament: Shy, playful, affectionate, Medium energy
Good with strangers? Yes
Good with kids? Yes, but as with any dog always kids and dogs must be supervised
Good with dogs? YES, loves to play with other dogs
Good with Cats? Sometimes barks at street cats and might try to chase them, but was fostered so will depend on cat and smoothness of introduction between the two

Knows commands? Yes (sit) - Needs more training (food motivated).
Potty-Trained? YES, outside (will need reinforcement in a new home by being taken out frequently and praised)

Needs: an experienced and confident adopter who can set clear boundaries, work with him on basic commands, reinforce potty training and provide him with a very cool indoor place. Someone who can keep up with maintaining his coat and cleaning his eyes.
Story: Cosmo was found in the desert in a remote area suffering from skin and breathing problems as well a tick born disease. Now, he is recovered from the pneumonia and tick-born disease and his hair and skin has improved significantly.
