Medical History: Vaccinate, Neutered and microchipped.

Junior has a birth defect where he cannot bend one of his back legs. It does not cause him pain and does not stop him from moving around, jumping, running and playing.  

Status: At OPJ Kennels- Needs a foster home until a suitable adopter is found for her.

Temperament: Sweet, Playful, affectionate, Medium energy 

Good with strangers? Yes

Good with kids? Yes 

Good with dogs? Yes 

Good with Cats? Yes 

TRAINING: 

Knows commands? Needs more training 

Potty-Trained?  Somewhat, he goes outside and on pee pads but would need reinforcement in a new home. 

Crate Trained? Yes, stays in crate at the shelter 

Walks on a leash? Needs more training

Loves: playing with other dogs, with tennis balls and receiving affection. 

Needs: An adopter who has the time and patience to continue to train him on basic commands, potty training and walking on a a leash so that he can mature into the great dog he has the potential to be. Would do well in a home with cats and dogs. 

Story: Junior was part of a group of dogs left behind by their previous owner who was a rescuer who sadly and suddenly passed away. He is now in good health and just waiting for the right family to call him own.
