Good with strangers? Shy and takes times to warm up to new people 

Good with kids? Shy and takes times to warm up to new people  

Good with dogs? Yes, but she seems to be a bit too fixated on them and barks at them and annoys them (doesn't hurt them). Tolerable outside of the house. 

Good with cats? No

TRAINING:

Knows any commands? Unknown - needs training 

Potty trained?  Yes, outside but will need reinforcement in new home. 

Walks on a leash? Yes

Crate trained? Yes, prefers to be in a crate especially in the beginning to feel secure in a new place with new people. 

Needs: A patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to get used to her new home, walk her to build a bond with her, take her out for potty breaks and give her the attention she eventually appreciates from her people. 

Ideally in a home with no other dogs or cats as they make her quite anxious. 

Likes: Affection, cuddling, going for walks. 

Story: Petunia was found in the street and rescued by a kind person who then reached out to us for help and surrendered her to our care. We  took her in Nov 2025 where she was taken to Petopia vet clinic until she completed her medical requirements. on January 12, she moved into a temp foster home util a more permanent one can be found for her or ideally an adoptive home.
