PERSONALITY: 

Temperament: Shy, loyal, medium to high energy 

Good with strangers: yes, but can be a little shy in the beginning and takes a little bit of time to get used to new people (but will definitely come for treats) 

Good with kids? Yes, but best to be older children that are used to dogs

Good with dogs: Yes, is currently with many other dogs (large and small)

Good with Cats: NO

TRAINING: 

Knows commands: YES (basic commands like his name, come, sit), but needs training - high food drive (but needs to learn to take treats gently.  

Potty Trained: YES, outside but needs reinforcement 

Walks on a leash: Yes

Needs: A person with experience with large breed dogs, who can confidently continue with Safi's training, exercising and socializing so that he can reach his full potential. Safi would make a great companion as long as he's guided well and exercised enough.  

Story: Safi walked onto a company's property with collar and leash dragging. It was a hot day, and Safi was in distress looking malnourished. The employees were nice enough to give him food and water and he collapsed drinking water desperately. The employees reached out to us to take him. He was brought to the vet for check up and was cleared of any issues. Despite countless efforts, his owners were never found. Now, Safi is healthy and in need of a foster or forever home with someone with experience and confidence to help Safi reach his full potential
