Date rescued: February 12, 2025

Medical History: took first 5in1 vaccine and booster - needs rabies. Will need to be neutered once he's mature. Will be Microchipped same time as neutering. 

Status: In a foster home until he finds a suitable adopter

PERSONALITY:

Temperament: Friendly, playful, medium energy.

Good with strangers? YES

Good with kids? YES

Good with dogs? YES

Good with Cats? Yes, currently being fostered with a cat 

TRAINING:

Knows commands? YES (come, sit, catch, down) 

Potty-Trained? Currently being trained on a pad and doing well but needs more reinforcement. 

Does he walk on a leash? Yes 

Crate trained? Yes, he eats in his crate and sleeps in his crate. 

Loves: Playing fetch with pretty much anything, paying with other dogs, stealing shoes. 

Needs: An adopter who has the time and patience to continue the work of training him on basic commands, potty training and exposing him so that he grows up to be the confident, well trained dog he has the potential to be. Home needs to be properly puppy proofed as he's young and like to chew and eat pretty much anything and everything. 

Story: Astro was part of an unwanted litter of pups. He went to a family who did not know how to take her of him properly and the rest of the family was not on board with having a dog so they surrendered him to OPJ. He's now waiting for the right family to call his forever fam.
