Name: Taya and Kaya (NOT to be adopted together) 

Breed: Pitbull 

Gender: Female

Age: 3 - 5 months old 

Date of rescue: June 2025 

Status: Need a foster home (separately)

Medical History: Took first vaccine, will need booster, rabies, microchip and spay when they are old enough (this is covered by OPJ ) 

PERSONALITY: 

Temperament: Friendly, Curious, affectionate, medium energy (will have more energy as they grow). 

Good with strangers: Yes, but needs more exposure

Good with kids: Yes, but needs more exposure (they are teething so important to be careful and supervise extra around children). 

Good with dogs?  Yes, but needs more exposure

Good with Cats: Needs more exposure

TRAINING: 

Knows commands: Needs training 

Potty Trained: Needs training 

Walks on a leash? Needs training 

Crate trained? Needs training  

Loves: Human affection and playing with toys

Needs: An adopter with experience with same /breeds who has the time , patience to train, socialize a puppy, set clear boundaries and work with her on basic commands, walking on a leash..etc so that can she grow into the stable, well -behaved dog she has the potential to be. 

Story: Kaya and Taya were found in the street along with their mother. Despite countless efforts, we were unable to find their owners and so can only assume they were abandoned. Now they are doing well in a temporary place, but could each really use a foster/forever home so that they can get started on their training and socializing.
