Status: In the OPj shelter - Needs a foster home until a suitable home is found for her

Vaccinated? Yes

Spayed? Yes

PERSONALITY:

Temperament: Unpredictable, Playful, medium to high energy. 

Good with strangers? Somewhat, she takes time to get comfortable around them  so they need to give her space and let her come to them and not over pet her. 

Good with kids: Not recommended for kids and she gets mouthy and might even bite them (would need to be supervised around new ppl and children) 

Good with dogs: Yes, although she may bark at them during walks, but she gets on well with them. 

Good with Cats: Tends to bark at street cats and will attempt to chase them 

Where does dog usually sleep? beside or in her person's bed. She's quite the cuddle. 

Walks on a leash? Yes 

Is dog fine being left alone? Yes

TRAINING:

Knows commands: In training ( sit, come, no and her name) 

Potty Trained: Needs reinforcement and training 

Crate trained? Unknown 

Loves: playing fetch (especially with balls and plush toys), playing with other dogs, going for walks and exploring. Once she has your trust, she also loves to snuggle and be petted. 

Needs: An experienced and confident adopter who can give her the space and time to get comfortable with her new person and new home, someone who can be a confident guide and leader: set clear boundaries, reinforce the commands she knows as well as potty training. Someone who can play with and exercise her daily to get out that excitable energy and reduce chances of her playing with things in the house that she shouldn't. Someone who can create a consistant routine for her while socializing her more. 

Story: Franny was found in the street without any identification. Unfortunately, we were unable to find her owners. She's now in the OPJ shelter until we can find her a suitable foster/ forever home.
